Land wanted

We are committed to meeting the need for more affordable homes, and we are always interested in talking to developers, landowners and private individuals who can help us to achieve this.

We have a track record of developing affordable homes, from difficult sites in towns and villages to Section 106 schemes.

Jargon explained

Code for sustainable homes:

Our homes must meet environment criteria set by the government., which uses this code to measure how our homes perform. Homes funded by  the Homes and Communities Agency  will be at least code level 3, which will cut carbon emissions by 25% over current standards.  You can find out more information here. 

Homes & Communities Agency:

This government agency provides funding for affordable housing; their role is to create an opportunity for people to live in high quality, sustainable places.  You can find out more information here. 

Section 106:

To get planning permission a developer usually has to make a financial contribution to the council for things such as education, transportation, open space and affordable housing.
