Easy ways to pay your rent

We have a wide range of payment options to suit everyone, and we don't charge you for any of them.

Direct debit

This is the easiest and most convenient way to pay your rent and the cheapest way for us to collect it. If the amount that you need to pay changes, it is all automatically done for you. You can download our direct debit form here. Your payments adviser can help you to fill in a form, and can tell you when you can make your payments.

Online

You can make an online payment at any time. If you have a debit or credit card from any UK bank (apart from American Express), you can pay your rent using this free, safe and secure service. The first time you use BillPay, you will have to register to get a username and password.

Standing orders

Standing orders are an instruction from your bank to send money to us. The standing orders can be paid on any day and as frequently as you want (weekly, fortnightly, every four weeks or monthly). If your rent changes, you will have to change the standing order at your bank.

Using direct debits is an easier way to pay your rent because your payment amounts are updated automatically. But, you may prefer to use standing orders if the direct debit payment dates don't work for you.

Your payments adviser can help you to fill in our standing order form or you can ask your bank.

Over the phone

You can make a payment over the phone using a debit or credit card. Call our customer service team on 01225 715 715. We accept most cards.

Telephone banking

You can call your bank and quote our account number (01174182) and sort code (30-98-75). You will also need to give the bank your rent account number

PayPoint

You can pay by cash at any PayPoint outlet throughout the country. Simply give the assistant your rent payment card, along with the cash.

payzone

You can pay your rent by cash around the country, wherever you see the pink payzone sign. Payzone outlets include newsagents, convenience stores, petrol stations plus many more handy locations. Many have long opening hours, including weekends.

Post Office ^®branch

You can use your rent payment card at any Post Office branch to pay by cash or with a cheque made payable to 'Post Office Limited'. Write your name, address and tenant reference number on the back of your cheque.

By Post

You can send a cheque or postal order to us at: Selwood Housing, Bryer Ash Business Park, Bradford Road, Trowbridge, Wiltshire, BA14 8RT. Please do not send cash through the post.

Make your cheque or postal order payable to us and write your address and rent number on the back.

In Person

You can pay your rent by visiting our office during office hours. Please remember to bring your rent card. Payments made after 4pm will not credit your account until the next working day.
