Kestrel Court is situated in Bowerhill on the edge of Melksham. It has a total of 19 self contained homes over two floors: 9 one bedroom apartments, 1 three bedroom apartment and 9 studio apartments.

All of Kestrel Court's properties have double glazing. Being well insulated the homes are warm and cosy. Each home has its own smoke alarm, and we take care of all repairs and maintenance.

Kestrel Court has a spacious, bright communal lounge that all residents can use.  The lounge is the hub for all of the social activities which take place.

The lounge also contains a dart board, piano, television with a DVD player, pool table, skittles, puzzles and many other games which are free for everyone to use.

Kestrel Court has many other enjoyable facilities such as a lunch club, craft sessions, exercise classes, a library and a disabled shower room. There is a well-equipped laundry room with a washing machine and a tumble dryer that all residents can use free of charge.  There is also a communal area with washing lines available for use.

Kestrel Court guest bedroom

A guest bedroom is available for hire if friends and family want to come and stay. There is a bus stop outside Kestrel Court offering direct transport into Melksham town centre. There is also a fish and chip shop close to Kestrel Court.

A chiropodist and a hairdresser visit Kestrel Court regularly.


Kestrel Court is situated on the edge of Melksham in Bowerhill. Melksham is a lovely market town just twelve miles from the M4 motorway. Surrounded by a wealth of historical sites, it is an excellent centre to explore nearby historic and picturesque Lacock. The cities of Bath and Salisbury are only a short journey away.
