Gardening club

Elderly couple sitting on a bench in the garden with their dogThe gardening club has been developed to help and support you if you cannot look after your own garden.

You have to pay to use the gardening club. It entitles you to about 15 grass cuts a year, and hedge cutting twice a year.

They will be carried out between March and September each year. You will need to have a clear rent account.

The cost is £2.94 per week from April 2015.

To qualify you must get a disability allowance such as a working tax credit (disability elements), incapacity benefit or attendance allowance. You can also join if you have specific special needs. Take a look at our useful leaflet that tells you how you can join: Gardening club leaflet.
