Victim Support - Peer Support Network Groups

Have you experienced anti-social behaviour or been a victim of crime? Victim Support is organising peer support network groups that can help overcome the trauma of being a victim of crime and anti-social behaviour.

Starting on Thursday 5th November 2020, the virtual sessions will take place every 2 weeks on Thursdays.

Owlets Forest School Toddler Group

On Wednesdays during term time, head to Southwick Country Park for a morning of outdoor fun with the little ones!

£4 for 1 child and £6 for 2 children
Every Wednesday (during term time)
9:30am - 11:30am

The Soundabout Inclusive Choir for Wiltshire Youth

National charity Soundabout and Wiltshire Music Connect are launching a brand new inclusive choir for children and young people across the country. The choir welcomes all abilities up to the age of 18 and is focused on removing barriers from those with severe and profound learning disabilities being able to participate musically. 

The choir will meet and sing together every two weeks via online video-conferencing and aims to rehearse regularly in person from early 2021. 

This Girl Can

Fun friendly sessions involving a range of activities including dance fit, boxercise and rounders, exclusively for women. These weekly sessions for the local community are provided and designed by female staff. Suitable for all ages and abilities, these sessions are perfect for grabbing some 'me time', having a giggle and getting that feel good factor!

Sessions cost £1 and your first session is free!

These sessions are currently only being held online via Microsoft Teams on Tuesdays from 6:30pm - 7:30pm. Enter the online class here.

Walking Football

Like the Walking Netball sessions, Walking Football is a slower pace version of traditional football ideal for anyone looking for low impact fitness sessions. Walking football is suitable for adults of any ability.

Walking football costs just £1 per session and your first session is free!

Walking Netball

Walking netball is a slower version of the traditional game, designed for anyone looking to exercise in a relaxed, supportive and friendly environment. Walking netball is suitable for adults of any ability.

Walking netball is a low cost way to keep fit, at £1 per session and your first session is free!

Westbury Men's Group

On Monday evenings, join Westbury Men's Group for a chance to chat, reflect and laugh with other men from the local and surrounding area.

The group is a new wellbeing and mental health support initiative from Westbury Town Council and started in November 2020 following World Mental Health Day.

Sessions take place every Monday evening at 7pm at The Laverton, Bratton Rd, Westbury BA13 3EN.

Wiltshire - Activities for Adults

Details of sports, leisure and physical activity opportunities for adults in Wiltshire, includes walking sports such as Basketball, Netball, Rugby along with information about opportunities offered involving walking, cycling and a range of other activities. See website for further information.

Wiltshire Mind evening support group, Melksham

Wiltshire Mind, a local mental health charity, are holding evening groups to support those, primarily who are in work, who feel stressed, depressed, lacking in confidence or just in need of mental health support.

The weekly group will offer support, information and signposting to other services as well as friendship.

The meetings are held at the Wiltshire Mind office in Melksham High Street, from 6-8pm every Tuesday evening.

There is no need to book for this event.
