Below is a list of organisations that offer advice and support for anyone struggling with any aspect of their mental health. You can also reach out to your local neighbourhood manager who can offer advice on which support services are available to you and may be able to refer you to a particular service.

Mind

Mind provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They have local charities set up across the country that offer support to anyone in those communities who are experiencing mental health problems or emotional distress.

Cruse Bereavement Support

Cruse is the UK's leading bereavement charity, helping people through one of the most painful times in life with bereavement support, information and campaigning. They offer local support services, one-to-one support and support for children and young people as well as operating an emotional support helpline.

Mental health support free text messaging service in Wiltshire

24/7 text messaging support service providing free confidential support for anyone in Wiltshire who is struggling with their mental health. To use the service, text the word 'WILTS' to 85258. This will start a text conversation with a trained volunteer who will aim to get the texter to a calm and safe place, with a plan of what they are going to do to support themselves going forward.

NHS Mental Health

You can find information and support for your mental health on the NHS website, including information on self-help, NHS mental health services, mental health for young people and mental health conditions.

Rehab4Addiction

Rehab4Addiction offers a wealth of resources and information about addiction and mental health. They also have a helpline that offers immediate assistance to those struggling with addiction as well as a comprehensive directory of treatment centres throughout the UK.

Rethink mental illness

Rethink helps to improve the lives of people severely affected by mental health illness through our network of local groups and services, expert information and successful campaigning. Their goal is to make sure everyone severely affected by mental illness has a good quality of life.

Samaritans

Samaritans offer support services day and night for anyone who is struggling to cope or who needs someone to listen to without judgement or pressure. They help give people ways to cope and the skills to be there for others. Whatever you're going through a Samaritan will face it with you. Available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Young Minds

Young Minds provides young people with tools to look after their mental health. Their website is full of advice and information on what to do if you're struggling with how you feel. They also empower parents and adults who work with young people, to be the best support they can be to the young people in their lives.

The FUEL Programme is back for the Easter holidays and parents or guardians can now request places for children who are eligible for the programme. FUEL is the holiday activity and food programme (HAF) that is funded by the Department of Education. FUEL provides eligible school-aged children with free access to enriching activities, nutritious meals and healthy eating information during the Easter, Summer and Christmas holidays.
