About the neighbourhoods team
Our neighbourhoods team work to make sure the areas our customers live in are safe, clean and welcoming places that people are proud to call home. The team work in partnership with customers, partner organisations and local services to manage antisocial behaviour, support customers experiencing domestic abuse, provide tenancy support, look after communal spaces and make improvements to the local area based on community needs.
What you can expect
Our neighbourhood management policy sets out our approach to managing our neighbourhoods. We also follow the Neighbourhood and Community Standard 2024 set by the Regulator for Social Housing. This outlines what you can expect from us when it comes to managing neighbourhoods, including:
- Maintaining the safety of our neighbourhoods
- Promoting social, environmental and economic wellbeing in our areas
- Tackling antisocial behaviour working with local authority departments and the police.
- Tackling domestic abuse and enabling affected customers to access support.
Your role in maintaining your neighbourhood
We believe in working in partnership with our customers to keep neighbourhoods safe and well maintained. You can help by:
- Preventing antisocial behaviour and reporting antisocial behaviour or hate incidents
- Reporting damage, faults and other repairs to us via our request a repair webpage.
- Keeping communal areas clean, tidy and free from obstruction
- Contacting your neighbourhood manager if you notice a problem or need support.
