About the sheltered housing team

Our sheltered housing team provides housing management and caretaking services for customers living in our sheltered and supported housing schemes.

We are here to help customers live independently and enjoy their home and community. Each scheme has a sheltered housing coordinator who provides support and is a regular point of contact for customers. We also work closely with neighbourhood managers to help with tenancy matters and antisocial behaviour issues.

The team is also responsible for a number of registered care homes and supported living schemes for adults with learning disabilities. As landlord, we work alongside care and support providers to help ensure residents have a safe and well-managed place to live.

What can you expect

We are committed to providing a friendly, professional and responsive service. As part of this, we will:

  • Provide housing management and caretaking services for sheltered and supported housing schemes.
  • Visit schemes regularly and be available to discuss any concerns or questions.
  • Support customers with tenancy-related matters.
  • Work with customers and partner agencies to address antisocial behaviour where appropriate.
  • Manage and maintain communal areas.
  • Carry out regular monitoring visits to registered care homes and supported living schemes.

Your role in maintaining a positive community

Customers can help us keep schemes welcoming and enjoyable places to live by:

  • Looking after their home and reporting repairs when needed.
  • Helping to keep shared areas clean and tidy.
  • Respecting neighbours and shared facilities.
  • Reporting concerns about antisocial behaviour or the wellbeing of another customer.
  • Working with us to maintain a positive and supportive community.
