We have vacancies for two new customer Board members on the Selwood Housing Group Board.
Board members are appointed for three years, subject to successfully completing a probation period. The time involved is roughly 10 hours a month, with key meetings to attend throughout the year. Board members are paid a fee of £4,802 per year, if you are in receipt of benefits this payment may affect them, so you will need to ensure that you are aware of this or seek advice before making an application.
Before deciding if you would like to apply for this role, we will be running taster sessions which will help you find out more, give you the opportunity to meet a current customer board member and show you how our board members contribute to making a difference at Selwood Housing Group. The session will also outline the next steps should you decide you wish to go ahead and apply.
You have the option of an in-person or online taster session:
Monday 23 March, 2-4pm at Bryer Ash, Trowbridge
Wednesday 25 March, 6-8pm online via Microsoft Teams
If you would like to book onto one of the taster sessions, please let us know which one by emailing us at makeadifference@selwoodhousing.com or phoning us on 01225 715715 and asking to speak to the customer involvement team. Please contact us by Monday 16 March to register on a session.
If you’re unable to attend a session but are interested in applying for this role, you can find out more about our Board, access the application pack and form below, as well as further information:
