Over the past year, we’ve been working with customers and local partners to help make our priority neighbourhoods even better places to live. Our 2025/26 programme focused on seven neighbourhoods in Trowbridge, bringing people together through community events, practical support and activities designed to make a lasting difference.
One of the highlights was our Love Your Garden competition, run in partnership with Trowbridge Garden Centre. The competition encouraged customers to take pride in their outdoor spaces and share their garden transformations. The result was some fantastic improvements that helped make neighbourhoods greener, brighter and more welcoming for everyone.

We also hosted a family fun day at Charlotte Square, giving residents the chance to enjoy games and activities while sharing their ideas about their neighbourhood and what matters most to them. Listening to customer feedback helps us understand where we can make improvements and support local communities in a way that makes a difference day to day.

Community connections were strengthened through events such as an afternoon tea party at The Homestead, which brought residents together for conversation, friendship and support.

Our teams also got involved in practical ways. We spent time supporting the Longfield Food Bank, helping to distribute food and engage with local people, and worked alongside our caretaking teams to organise large item clearance activities, helping residents dispose of unwanted bulky items and keep shared spaces tidy.

These activities are part of our ongoing commitment to work with customers and partners to create stronger communities and improve neighbourhoods. We’d like to thank everyone who has taken part, shared their views or supported events throughout the year. Together, we’re helping to make our neighbourhoods great places to live.
