Selwood Housing is delighted to reveal the architects' design for the transformation of the Margaret Stancomb school building.

Work is currently well underway to convert the disused Victorian building into three houses for shared ownership.

The lucky owners of these homes will benefit from a whole host of original features such as exposed beams, large windows and restored stonework alongside the convenience of contemporary kitchens, modern bathrooms and double glazing.

The vision for the final design was developed in conjunction with Quattro design architects of Gloucester, who specialise in sustainable buildings.

Paul Walsh, Selwood Housing Group development director said:

We're very excited about this development. Not only will it provide much needed affordable housing right in the centre of Trowbridge, it will restore to its former glory a building that had been derelict for over a decade.
