Wiltshire libraries are looking for outgoing and enthusiastic volunteers to support children taking part in the Mischief Makers, Summer Reading Challenge, in Wiltshire libraries from 14 July to 8 September.
This volunteer experience will allow you to improve your skills on working with children, achieve accreditation towards Arts Award or D of E, add to your CV or UCAS application, encourage children to enjoy reading, support your local community and most importantly, have fun.

Soundwell are soon to be holding their Music Workshop for Carers at the Bethesda Baptist Church Hall, Trowbridge.
Held on Friday 20 April from 11am-12 noon, the event will allow carers to get creative, try out interesting instruments and take a break with other unpaid carers.
No musical skills are required and all adult carers are welcome.

Are you, or someone you know, looking to get a job within the construction industry?
Reform Training are soon to be hosting two free CSCS training days in Trowbridge and Sailsbury, aimed at anyone aged over 19 (as of 31 August 2017) and in receipt of a work-related benefit such as ESA, JSA or Universal Credit.
All workers on construction sites must hold a valid CSCS card so this is a great offer for those wanting to start their career.
This 5 day course will include a level 1 basic construction certificate, functional skills training, level 1 health & safety qualification, free CSCS card and test as well as a £50 back to work voucher.
The first course takes place at the Longfield Community Centre, Weavers Drive, Trowbridge, BA14 7DZ and begins on Monday 23 April.
If you cannot make this date, the same course will run the following week at 19, The Close, Salisbury, SP1 2EE.

TCAF are delighted to be holding a series of fun events from 24 February aimed at those aged between 11-18 years old, held at the Studley Green Community Centre.
The next event will take place on Saturday 28 April, and will see the #Connect @ Games & Crafts event, from 2.30-5.30pm. Join in with the mixed activities in teams and individually to win prizes. Activities include obstacle courses, problem solving and giant Jenga to name a few.
All events cost £2 per person which includes drinks and snacks.

Celebrating Age Wiltshire are soon to be hosting their Sing-Along Coffee Concert in Norton Bradley Peace Memorial Hall.
Join musicians Willow & Thorn for a coffee concert and fun. Willow & Thorn are a guitar and voice duo, singing popular songs from all eras and genres. Audiences are encouraged to have a sing-along with them and make song requests too.
The free event will take place on Tuesday 8 May. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be served from 10.15am, with the concert taking place from 10.30-11.30am.

This event is designed for budding social entrepreneurs, charities and community groups in Wiltshire that want to generate their own independent income.
Held on Thursday 24 May, from 9.30am-1pm, this event will allow you to hear from the School for Social Entrepreneurs Hampshire, who will explore what social enterprise is, and how it could help you generate income. During the workshop, you will look at how to get starter, identify what your organisation might 'trade' and find out about the help that is available.

Celebrating Age Wiltshire have announced their latest event, where you can unleash the poet within you!
Jon Seagrave is a poet, comedian, spoken word artist, theatre-maker and workshop leader who performs across the UK and beyond.
Join Jon for an afternoon exploring treasures from the museum. Bring your imagination, and your favourite pen, and Jon will bring the biscuits.

Wiltshire Mind, a local mental health charity, are holding evening support groups to suppose those, primarily who are in work, who feel stressed, depressed, lacking in confidence or just in need of mental health support.
The weekly group will offer support, information and signposting to other services as well as friendship.
The meetings are held at the Wiltshire Mind office in Melksham High Street, from 6-8pm every Tuesday evening.

The sports club allows those interested to get involved with a new street sports club on a local level.
This event is open to anyone over the age of 10 years and is free of charge.
