Join Wiltshire Age UK at their Celebrating Older People event on Monday 21 January from 10am - 1pm.
Come along to The Laverton Westbury, Bratton Road, Westbury, BA13 3EN, for information, entertainment and lunch, free to the Westbury community area residents ages 65+.
This event aims to raise awareness about help available to the older generation, as well as celebrating the contribution you make in our communities.
Entertainment includes singing and music, a seated exercise taster and falls awareness top tips.
A grant of £1000 is now available for talented Wiltshire athletes of any age, competing in an Olympic or Paralympic sport, or any sport recognised by Sport England at either a national or international level.
The grant can be used to access additional training and coaching, to purchase equipment and to cover transport costs for attending national and international events.
Come along to the Kindness Cafe at The Community Hub at BA14.
Held every Friday from 10am until 12noon, this cafe starts from Friday 12 January.
The cafe will be a support and share meet-up group for older residents of Trowbridge, to assist with any health and wellbeing needs you may have. Enjoy hot drinks and biscuits, make new friends and learn more about the ways TCAF can help you live your life to the full.
The Community Hub is located within The Shires, Trowbridge.
Wiltshire Family and Community Learning are now offering free courses, focusing on employment and qualifications. These courses take place across Wiltshire in Chippenham, Devizes, Trowbridge and Salisbury.

parkrun organise fun 5km times runs weekly at King George V Park, Lowbourne, Melksham, every Saturday.
This event is free of charge, safe and easy to take part in. Families are invited to attend and go at their own pace.
Those who do not want to run are able to volunteer should they wish and cheer everyone on!
Doorstep Sports club is back with a new time!
Held every Wednesday from 5.30 - 7pm at Studley Green Community Centre and Multi Use Games Area, come along and get involved in a new street sports club and help decide the way your new club runs.
Open to anyone over the age of 10 years, this is a free event for all.

Free swimming will be available for under 16's during specific sessions throughout all Wiltshire school holidays.
The dates in 2018/19 that free swimming will apply are:
25 October - 2 November 2018
24 December 2018 - 4 January 2019
18 February - 22 February 2019
Please note, pools are closed on bank holidays and only one free swim per day is allowed.
All under 16's need to apply for a free swim membership card. Application forms can be collected from Wiltshire Council swimming pools, Places for people leisure pools or downloaded from the Wiltshire Council website.
Melksham & District Seniors 55+ forum weekly activity & social club is held at the Riverside Club, every Thursday from 10.30am - 12.30pm.
On alternative weeks, the forum hold a happy 'Sing-a-long' or a movement to music activity to help those attending improve their balance. It is also a great opportunity for a good natter with others over refreshments and followed by other fun activities.
Wiltshire Mind, a local mental health charity, are holding evening groups to support those, primarily who are in work, who feel stressed, depressed, lacking in confidence or just in need of mental health support.
The weekly group will offer support, information and signposting to other services as well as friendship.
The meetings are held at the Wiltshire Mind office in Melksham High Street, from 6-8pm every Tuesday evening.
There is no need to book for this event.

These social events occur every third Saturday of the month, from 9.30am-12.30pm, at Tesco Community Room, Trowbridge.
Don't sit at home alone, drop in for tea, cake, good company and fun activities.
