Trowbridge Cultural Festival of Food are inviting the local communities to attend their Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Monday 22 October.
This will be held at the Community Room, Tesco Extra, County Way, Trowbridge, at 10.30am, and is a great opportunity for you to share your views on how the festival can be improved.
Head along to the Forest Community Centre on Saturday 27 October for a fun family Halloween disco.
Starting from 7pm, entry is free and fancy dress is optional.

Fit and Fed is back for another free event!
On Thursday 1 November from 11am - 2pm, why not come along to the Fit and Fed programme, held at Studley Green Primary School.
Parents and children from the ages of 5 and over, are invited to come along and get involved in preparing and cooking a healthy hot meal, hear advice on healthy eating and take part in fun games and multi-sports activities.

Warminster Town Council will soon be playing host to a community litter pick, to help improve the environment and help ensure Warminster is a great place to live.
Taking place on Saturday 3 November from 10am - 12.30pm, all those wanting to get involved are asked to meet at the play area on Portway Lane, Warminster.

Adapted specially for Celebrating Age audiences, A Wiltshire Tale is a one man show looking at Wiltshire's history, landscape and wildlife, through poetry and live music.
A Wiltshire Tale, written and performed by Nick Harper, will take place on Wednesday 14 November from 2.30-4pm, at Trowbridge Library, County Hall.

Wiltshire Family and Community Learning are now offering free courses, focusing on employment and qualifications. These courses take place across Wiltshire in Chippenham, Devizes, Trowbridge and Salisbury.

parkrun organise fun 5km times runs weekly at King George V Park, Lowbourne, Melksham, every Saturday.
This event is free of charge, safe and easy to take part in. Families are invited to attend and go at their own pace. All those wanting to get involved must register by clicking here.
Those who do not want to run are able to volunteer should they wish and cheer everyone on!
Doorstep Sports club is back with a new time!
Held every Wednesday from 5.30 - 7pm at Studley Green Community Centre and Multi Use Games Area, come along and get involved in a new street sports club and help decide the way your new club runs.
Open to anyone over the age of 10 years, this is a free event for all.

Free swimming will be available for under 16's during specific sessions throughout all Wiltshire school holidays.
The dates in 2018/19 that free swimming will apply are:
25 October - 2 November 2018
24 December 2018 - 4 January 2019
18 February - 22 February 2019
Please note, pools are closed on bank holidays and only one free swim per day is allowed.
All under 16's need to apply for a free swim membership card. Application forms can be collected from Wiltshire Council swimming pools, Places for people leisure pools or downloaded from the Wiltshire Council website.

Melksham & District Seniors 55+ forum weekly activity & social club is held at the Riverside Club, every Thursday from 10.30am-12.30pm.
On alternative weeks, the forum hold a happy 'Sing-a-long' or a movement to music activity to help those attending improve their balance. It is also a great opportunity for a good natter with others over refreshments and followed by other fun activities.

Wiltshire Mind, a local mental health charity, are holding evening groups to support those, primarily who are in work, who feel stressed, depressed, lacking in confidence or just in need of mental health support.
The weekly group will offer support, information and signposting to other services as well as friendship.
The meetings are held at the Wiltshire Mind office in Melksham High Street, from 6-8pm every Tuesday evening.
There is no need to book for this event.
