How we reward and recognise our staff

We're committed to supporting people. And that support doesn't stop at our tenants. We're keen to make work, work for you, which is why we offer a generous range of benefits and all the encouragement, flexibility and training you need to help you achieve your full potential and a great worklife balance.

Here's how:

Induction, training and development

We offer a comprehensive training and development programme along with a thorough induction programme and regular 1:1 meetings with your line manager. We've a dedicated training adviser who provides advice on relevant courses and learning and development solutions.

Health and wellbeing

As a group, we recognise the importance of helping our staff to balance their work and home life by offering informal and formal flexible working arrangements.

We also provide a range of services to support the health and wellbeing of our staff, including; free flu jabs and vaccinations, free sight tests, annual health check-ups for operatives, a cycle to work scheme, subsidised pilates classes and a tiered counselling service which is available to all staff.

Holidays and gifted days

In addition to providing up to 27 days of annual leave (30 days for senior managers), all staff are gifted an additional day off for their birthday and again at Christmas.


We've a dedicated trainee programme, which aims to provide trainees with the necessary skills and qualifications to progress to roles like neighbourhood manager, payments adviser and surveyor. As a trainee, you can also look forward to support as you undertake professional qualifications.

Pension scheme

We have a group personal pension plan along with Scottish Widows. The scheme is an occupational money purchase scheme and is funded by you (the employee) and us (the employer).

Final pension benefits will be dependent on the amount you have contributed to the scheme and how well the investments within the pension fund perform, along with the annual annuity rate available upon retirement.
