Not permitted

There are some alterations that we don't permit. This can be for a variety of reasons.

Please note

If you think you need a through floor lift please contact us.

Not permitted

There are some alterations that we don't permit. A stair lift in the communal stairwell will block means of escape from other flats in case of fire.

Please note

If you are unable to use the stairs to get to your flat, please contact us.

Usually permitted

We will usually allow these alterations but there may be some cases when it's not allowed or there are limits on what you can do. You therefore need to contact us to let us know what you're proposing and check that it's okay.

Please note

You need to tell us about the lift so that Selwood Housing can carry out servicing and maintenance once it's out of warranty.
