Supporting your communities

Our work

Our business has a positive impact on people, homes and neighbourhoods. We are committed to this ethos and support local communities, groups and partners to deliver projects and service for the benefit of our customers.

Stronger Communities Fund

Our Stronger Communities Fund is a grant scheme where we offer funding of up to £5,000 for projects that benefit our customers, or community initiatives on our estates. We consider projects for the funding that help to deliver one or more of the following outcomes:

  • Involves more people in community life and/or community decision making
  • Helps people in your community to learn new skills or build on their independence
  • Supports vulnerable people in your community
  • Promotes trust, tolerance and understanding between different groups in the community
  • Improves the appearance of your community and/or makes it a better place to live.

If you require funding for your project that would benefit our customers, or communities in any of our estates, contact us at makeadifference@selwoodhousing.com
